D E T A I L S
Day 1.
La Paz – Jackosin Camp
We begin our journey from La Paz, driving along the main highway until we reach a detour that takes us to the charming village of Peñas. At the end of the road, we continue on foot for about 3 hours to reach Jackosin Camp, located at 4,650 m.
Day 2.
Jackosin Camp – High Camp
We continue our ascent toward the glacier, finally reaching our high camp at the edge of the ice, situated at an altitude of 5,200 m.
Day 3.
High Camp – Summit – High Camp
We traverse an extensive glacial plain, skirting the Centinela Peak, to reach the east summit of Chachacomani. After conquering the summit, we return along the same route to our high camp.
Day 4.
Base Camp – Return to La Paz
After passing through the base camp, we head back to the start of the road, where our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to La Paz
