You will have the opportunity to witness up close the towering giants that guard the city of La Paz: the majestic Illimani and the colossal Mururata. The ideal route begins with an ascent along the Chuchuchani River, leading to the Khotapata Viewpoint (at 5,128 m). From this privileged vantage point, a panoramic view of the surrounding snow-capped peaks and picturesque lagoons unfolds, while the area’s rich biodiversity can be appreciated, including birds, vizcachas, llamas, Andean foxes, and more.
After descending toward the Arkhata Lagoon, we continue our journey through the valley, taking in the landscape of the charming Kelhua Khota and Laram Khota lagoons, until we reach the serene Totoral Pampa valley. There, our vehicle awaits to take us back to the city of La Paz.
